SUBSTANCE is an especially formulated Rubber Coating - first mentioned in The MAD SYSTEM MASTERCLASS - designed to cause ANY selected card to instantly vanish from the deck, with zero sleight-of-hand.

SUBSTANCE is applied to the back of the KING of DIAMONDS ( or any key card in the deck. )  Whichever playing card is placed behind the KD will grip to the SUBSTANCE and stay in place.  The rubber is powerful enough so that the card cannot slip out of place and does not need any pressure.  On the performers command the grip will loosen and the cards will separate.

SUBSTANCE is like a super version of VILLAIN ( SUPERVILLAIN! ) with no chance of the cards slipping from the rubber grip.  It has been carefully designed so that it is NOT sticky, so that participants can handle the SUBSTANCE card without feeling the Substance.  The Substance cannot be transfered to other cards or your skin nor can it be seen when applied correctly to the cards.

Please note that the seal on every bottle is open, and some of the bottles will also have a White / different Madison Label.  In production, the glue most some of the lids closed.  I opened every one to make sure that you could open them when they arrive.  The glue also had an effect on the labels, so some of them have been changed before being sent out to you..

WARNING: PLEASE make sure you follow my instructions very carefully.  Apply SUBSTANCE in a well-ventilated area ( outside if possible ) as the smell of SUBSTANCE is very strong at first, however, after a few minutes, when SUBSTANCE becomes Rubber, the smell disappears and no smell nor fragrance is left behind.  A little bit goes a very long way, so your bottle should last you a very long time.  As you will see in the workshop, I made 3 trick decks, applying substance to the back of every card in 3 decks and only 1/3 of the bottle was used.
