SHIPPING POLICY

We ship worldwide from the UK and aim to provide fast, reliable delivery with transparent import and returns policies.

By placing an order, you agree to this Shipping & Returns Policy, which works alongside our Terms of Service

1. Shipping Overview

Orders are dispatched from our UK warehouse unless otherwise stated at checkout. 

Shipping rates and estimated delivery times are displayed at checkout.

Once your order ships, you’ll receive tracking information by email.

Delivery times are estimates only. Delays may occur due to customs inspection, local postal networks, or events outside our control.

2. UK Orders

UK Orders

- Typically delivered within 2–5 working days.

- Sent via Royal Mail.

3. International Orders (Rest of World)

All current international orders are shipped via FedEx DDP (Delivered Duty Paid).

That means:

- All import duties and taxes are included in your checkout price.

- No additional customs payments are required on delivery.

- Delivery typically takes 3–7 working days, depending on location.

FedEx shipments are tracked end-to-end for your peace of mind.

4. Legacy MHI DDU Orders

Some older or pre-sale orders were (or will be) shipped under MHI DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid) terms.

For those orders:

- The customer is responsible for all import duties, taxes, and courier handling fees.

- Failure to pay these fees may cause the parcel to be delayed, returned, or destroyed by customs.

- We do not issue refunds for DDU orders that are refused, unclaimed, unpaid, or destroyed by customs.

- If a DDU parcel is eventually returned to us in good condition, we may—at our discretion—offer reshipment once new shipping costs are paid.

If your order confirmation email or invoice mentions “MHI DDU”, these conditions apply.

5. Pre-Sale Orders

Pre-sale items are offered on a flexible dispatch basis.

Estimated dispatch dates (e.g. “late October to mid-November”) are provided as guidance only and may change.

Payment is taken at checkout to reserve your product.

Pre-sale orders cannot be cancelled prior to dispatch unless specifically stated otherwise.

6. Customs and Import Duties

We are legally required to declare the accurate value and description of goods on all customs forms.

We cannot mark parcels as “gifts” or undervalue them.

For DDP (FedEx) shipments — duties and taxes are prepaid and included.

For historic DDU (MHI) shipments — any customs duties or import taxes are payable by you directly to your local customs authority or courier.

7. Returns & Exchanges

We handle returns and exchanges on a case-by-case basis for items that are:

  • Damaged or faulty on arrival, or

  • Incorrectly fulfilled.

To request a return or replacement, please email team@madison.cards within 7 days of delivery with your order number and photos of the issue.

We do not offer returns, exchanges, or refunds for:

- Change of mind or unwanted items

- Sale or discounted products

- Custom-made or personalised items

- DDU parcels refused or returned due to unpaid customs duties

Your statutory rights under UK law remain unaffected.

8. Damaged or Missing Parcels

If your order arrives damaged or doesn’t arrive within a reasonable timeframe, please contact us.

We will investigate with the courier and, where loss or damage is verified, we’ll offer a suitable resolution (replacement or refund at our discretion).

9. Incorrect Address or Delivery Failure

Please ensure all shipping details are entered correctly at checkout.

We are not responsible for delays or losses caused by incomplete or incorrect addresses.

If a parcel is returned to us, reshipment costs must be covered by the customer.
