PALMING TECHNIQUES and HOW TO BEAT THE CUT

This special module is dedicated to Palming and methods for beating the cut - two subjects that belong together, The GAMBLERS COP being the very method that I have always used, not necessarily to nullify the cut, but to directly beat it in controlling the position of the desired cards, at the bottom of the deck.

This is an exploration of processes, beginning with The GAMBLERS COP, it's uses and place within the deceptive practices at the card table, how it can serve switches and ultimately beating the cut. This module is a serious deep dive into the psychology of moves and techniques and also theory, deceptive sacrifice and somewhat controversially, how boring real card cheating is in comparison to it's romanticised perceptions of outsiders ( mostly fanx to Magicians. )

in this 2-hour study, I cover many sleights, moves, techniques and ideas, but it isn't easy nor does it make sense to timestamp any of them due to the flow of this module. As this is an exploration of psychology and theory with moves along the way, it's not something that you can really skip through to the moves you may want to hear about, the flow of this module is very natural and something of a lecture and so far - despite how heavy and challenging I find these modules - this has been my favourite offering in the EXPERT course and I explore all who study card-table deceptions to take note.

The move - or more 'series of actions' - that got me caught cheating on 1998, the moment that I almost lost my life to the consequence of card cheating is at the very heart of this module, as it was a Cop of the Kings in an attempt to beat the cut that failed. As three Kings hit my lap, I made the first mistake of looking at them, and then second mistake of running. Those very moves ( not the dropping or running ) are all taught in this very module. Whether you have heard the story before or not, I have never told it as part of a lesson before, so this one is from the coldest of cold school experiences.
