When I first received my copies of The MAGIC MANIFESTO and REPERTOIRE I felt compelled to add my unfiltered and private thoughts in the form of notes and sketches.  As liberating as writing is, the challenge of biting my tongue throughout was a resistance that I got to release with the notes in my very own copies.  In writing such meaningful books designed to pass on the knowledge from my experiences I had to always be aware of making sure that the reader would understand the message, and for me this means holding back on an automatic writing that would otherwise offer a harsh honesty that would not have served the book, nor the reader in any positive way.

The expression of annotating these books for myself and for the sake of releasing this pressure, of saying that which I could not in the official books, I felt a sense of completion, not ownership, but liberation from the thoughts that still lingered in my thoughts, that have now been laid to rest in these annotated copies of The MAGIC MANIFESTO and REPERTOIRE.

My first MASTERS and REPRETORE Playing Cards belong with these books, and I am looking forward to creating a video message for whoever takes these from me, to talk as freely as the notes that are scribbled throughout the books.

The books are now complete, and annotating them became my expressive way of saying goodbye.
