A special video has been made by Madison telling the story of this deck, how it never came to be, and why it was important to offer this unique King of Diamonds to the collectors.

SLEIGHT CLUB, I am Mad Happy to announce the release of a very special collectors playing card - a never seen before KING of DIAMONDS on an unreleased back design, never to be printed again, from the ARTIFICE Playing Cards.
My first custom KING of DIAMONDS was made by artist Jeff Lianza in 2010, and although I have made a few variations over the years, the face has never changed, and I have never considered updating the KD to look more like an older me. This is an itch that I have been eager to scratch. As I play with different concepts for a new King, our Artist Haris Arya stepped in with an alternative KING of DIAMONDS, designed for a deck that never came to be.
This KD falls in line with a more traditional and older looking deck design. The King features more detail, including my hand tattoos and in this case a revelation of an actual 9 of Clubs, held by the new King. There are some hidden symbols in this design, including a bloody axe, feathers, and, sausages.
The back design was made for The ARTIFICE Playing Cards, a deck that hides the Madison symbol behind an elegant pattern upon which Charlie is about to land, free from arrows of the past. This design will never be printed as a deck. There is a story to be told, but this one will only be shared with those who collect one of these cards.
To all collectors, I will sign and number your card, and as I do I will also tell you the story of this new King and the Artifice Playing Cards.
