To introduce the 2nd edition of The MAGIC MANIFESTO primarily to add to my library of books available at AMAZON, I printed 52 copies.  I have signed ( and can also personalise ) 22 copies, I also set 22 copies aside so that I could offer a more artistic and meaningful expression with the IDLE HAND Edition.

In celebration of the 2nd edition of The MAGIC MANIFESTO, I have taken 22 printed copies.  I covered my right hand in red paint and held onto each book, to transfer my handprint onto each one.  Each of these books have also been signed ( in red ) and can be personalised to the collectors.

I also applied the same red handprint to 22 of the new MAYHEM Playing Cards, one of each is included with every IDLE HAND Edition of The MAGIC MANIFESTO

The MAGIC MANIFESTO is a deep dive into the 9 Laws of Magic, as written and published by Daniel Madison in 2022...

Magic is Dead.  It is for the magician to convince his audience to believe otherwise by any means necessary.

We recognise Magic as a sacred art and we embrace our responsibility as representatives of our artistry.

We pledge an eternal commitment to the proposition that Magic is Real.

Our principal objective is to provoke a confrontation of actuality, in order to momentarily liberate our audience from their perspective reality.

We acknowledge our limitations and vow to sacrifice any expression that does not promote a sincere and pragmatic belief in our art.

We accept that we are only a channel of our art, and vow to never detract attention from the audience and their experience.

We fully commit to our purpose and accept every moment as an opportunity to practice or present expressions that manifest curiosity in our art.

The knife is real.  Our art is not an avocation, we are the personified embodiment of our art.

Together we protect the flame.  We do not keep the secrets from others, we keep them for others.

By DANIEL MADISON.  1st EDITION.  9th MARCH 2022

In this book Madison takes you on a journey through the 9 laws of Magic, quite poetically shared on his own way out of the world of Magic.  As Madison moves on from Magic to pursue a life of Art he leaves behind his final words on Magic and Sleight-of-Hand through this special book, the Masters Playing Cards and the REPERTOIRE Project.

The MAGIC MANIFESTO covers the psychology and philosophy of the Deceptive Arts and Practices sharing stories from the cold school of experience of how the Laws of the Manifesto were created.

On the 14th October I will be conducting a special ceremony for the release of the new edition of The MAGIC MANIFESTO.

I will cover my right hand in red paint, I will hold each of the 22 copies of The MAGIC MANIFESTO, leaving my hand-print around each book.  I will also write a small verse in red paint inside each copy.

I will apply the same to 22 decks of MAYHEM Playing Cards.
Each book includes one of those 22 decks.

22 additional ‘RED RIGHT HAND’ Mayhem Decks will be made, which can be collected without The MAGIC MANIFESTO at MADISON.cards

I will document and film everything, a private video will also be made for the 22 collectors.

My reason, and the meaning will be expressed in the ceremony.  This is an attempt to Make it Sacred, and a long overdue opportunity to express the art that I have been harbouring.  Fanx in advance, from the bottom of my deal, to those who collect one of these.  You are keeping my purpose alive, by becoming a part of it.

Mad Love always 🖖🤚
