The CURATORS BOX SET
This box holds both decks together and features art used in the decks. This box also has 2 secret revelations.
Inside the box...
The 1st x MADISON CURATORS Playing Cards
This long-overdue collaboration between Ramsay and Madison brings together the 1ST brand design - a gold foil frame featuring the 1ST stamp, which reaches the very edge of each playing card - and the Madison Acolytes minimalist symbol design. Behind both of these designs... 52 different Renaissance paintings to offer a single deck where no two cards are the same, and each as beautiful as the next.
Any one of these designs could have worked as a deck on its own, yet together - and especially when in motion - the difference in imagery, yet uniformity of the 1ST Gold frame surrounding Madison's Acolytes, delivers an offering so unique that couldn't have worked in any other way.
When creating this deck, Ramsay and Madison started to collect Renaissance images that would compliment this idea, and soon enough, the deck began to create itself, and before they knew it, Ramsay and Madison were Curating something that has never been done before.
This deck features 2 very special gold-foil 'Ad' cards and a MELT Gaff, allowing the 4 of Spades and 9 of Clubs to fit together on a single card.
This deck has also been designed in a very special way so that is also serves as an Advocate Pocket Index, but to understand this, you first need to discover the second deck in this collection...
The 1st x MADISON LIONS DEN Playing Cards
Similar to the CURATORS, this deck features RAMSAYS 1st gold stamp and foil frame surrounding Madison's Acolyte design, but this deck is made up of the same 'LIONS DEN' image - although this deck can be used as a standard deck, Madison created this with The ADVOCATE Pocket Index in mind...
If you turn this deck into an Advocate pocket Index ( Masterclass included with the Curators Collection ) then you have a secret device, out of sight, which allows you to be secretly within possession of ANY freely named playing card, and you can do with this whatever you choose, however, in this case, The LIONS DECN Advocate serves a very powerful purpose...
Using the Curators, the performer shows his participants that each back design is unique, he invites the participant to select a card without looking at it's identity - the participant selects a card with 'The LIONS DEN' back design. They are then invited to freely name ANY playing card. The LIONS DEN card is then turned over to reveal, the very named playing card.
Fanx to The ADVOCATE LIONS DEN Pocket Index, no matter which card is named, the LONS DEN card will ALWAYS be the named card.
Due to the way that these decks have been carefully designed, the LIONS DEN Advocate can also become The CURATORS Advocate... With your collection, you can also turn the CURATORS into an Advocate Pocket Index and use the LIONS DEN as a standard deck of cards...
The performer invites his participant to shuffle the deck ( The LIONS DEN Deck ) whilst thinking of a few playing cards, after a moment he asks them to name out loud ANY playing card. The performer takes the deck and instantly spreads it face down on the surface to show every back design to be the same... Apart from one. in the middle of the deck, a single playing card is seen to be different, having a Renaissance paining on the back where it should be the same LIONS DEN image. The participant is invited to turn this card over where it is revealed to be the very freely named playing card. This works with ANY card with fanx to the index.
The CURATORS ADVOCATE Masterclass
In this intimate Masterclass, Madison teaches you how to create your Advocate Pocket Index within moments before teaching you how to master the deceptive device for the Curators, for the Lions Den and for many deceptions beyond.

First of all, the quality of the jig literally could not bebetter. It’s precise, does exactly what it’s supposed to, and will never wear out or break. The teaching is clear and very helpful. What an amazing tool!So glad I got this.

Aside from the BLUE TWISTERS, this is the most beautiful cards I've ever held.

Fantastic deal for Fantastic decks! Would buy again!

Exquisite. Thank you.
You are more than welcome. So glad you're happy with the Curators. Such a stunning set and probably the final collab between CR and DM now that both have moved on to other projects.
Cards arrived mostly in good conditions but with some imperfections that you wouldn't expect from items meant for collection. Might be because of the international shipping though
