This special deck is a tribute to Ian Curtis and Joy Division, and the influence that they had on my creative life. I often watch back on this video ( and the BTS ) with heartache and happiness, and I sometimes sit with Ian's music with an Unknown 9 of Clubs in hand, fankful for the unassuming, unexpected and unknown inspirations that have often guided my creative decisions. Because of the influence that I found upon myself this way, I always believe that the efforts, energy, love and pain that I let through into my offerings will have a similar impact on somebody out there - perhaps even through this very deck - it makes the act worth all that it takes.
