KING BUK Playing Cards - Madison One entry

1 x KING BUK Playing Cards - MADISON ONE - One-of-a-kind
1 x PROTOTYPE BUK Playing Cards - One-of-a-kind
1 x BUKOWSKI Style artwork ( by me )
1 x Private Video Message from me, talking more about the decks and Buk's influence on my art.

This is a special MADISON ONE Entry for The KING BUK Playing Cards - a one-of-a-kind deck of cards as a tribute to Charles Bukowski. This Madison One edition features my favourite Bukowski sketch; Buk relaxing aside a flower with a drink and smoke. I used this sketch on the King of Diamonds in the BUK Playing Cards and made this KING BUK back design as a possible final for the actual BUK deck, in the end, the 'Bukowski Family' sketch won, but I couldn't let the King Buk design go.

The King Buk deck is similar to the BUK Playing Cards with the same court card sketches, but the Ace of Spades features another favourite sketch of mine; Buk's sparrow looking down on Buk in the birdcage - this sketch also appears on the back of the tuck. The first joker features Buk as the writer and the second is another alternative back design - Buk's dogs at night.

First come first served, Good luck, Mad Love 🖖🤚

The BUK Playing Cards
are a tribute to Charles Bukowski featuring his drawings and sketches on every court card, the Ace of Spades and back design and two jokers.

This is a very special MADISON52 Entry.

Only 52 of these decks exist,
so this is a first-come first-served offer

Each deck will be numbered 1 to 52. There is also the option to have the deck signed by Madison at no extra charge

Although this is a collectors deck, it is also useful to the Deception Artist, featuring a subtle one-way back design and two duplicates, which each host a hidden revelation...

The duplicate King of Diamonds features Buk relaxing, smoking and drinking by a flower.  The smoke from his mouth takes the shape of a 9 of Clubs )

The duplicate King of Clubs features Buk writing on his typewriter.  A 4 of Diamonds can be seen written on his paper.

This is second tribute to an inspiration of many - including myself and Team Madison - and I hope that this can serve as an introduction to those yet to discover Bukowski, or an honour for those who already love him as much as we do.

There was no better way to capture Bukowski's essence than having Buk design the deck himself.
