MADISON CUT CARDS

This is a premium quality, precision-cut, plastic CUT CARD, specially selected by Madison and made for The MADISON CASINO.

The CUT CARD is a common and necessary device for card games, used to allow the player to select the position at which the deck is cut - the cut card is inserted into the deck, the dealer then cuts the deck at this point and proceeds to deal cards from that point, keeping the cut card on the very bottom of the deck.  Although primarily devised for gambling protection against the cheat, the cut card ( especially this type of cut card ) actually helps the cheat pull off an even cleaner deception...

Madison chose this cut card due to both its texture and thickness.  The texture allows the cut card to have more slip from the deck, and the thickness - or the flexibility of the cut card allows for a multitude of deceptions, specifically the ones that it is supposed to prevent!

With the cut card at the very bottom of the deck, the dealer is supposed to be unable to Bottom Deal ( secretly deal playing cards from the bottom whilst appearing to deal them fairly from the top ) however, this cut card allows the cheat to execute a perfect Greek Deal - dealing the bottom cards from above the cut card - this may sound and feel impossible to those who do not know the technique, but Madison teaches the Greek Deal in his Greek Deal Masterclass.

These cut cards are also flexible enough to be secretly shifted through the deck to the cheats desired position, and many cut nullifications are possible even with this cut card in the deck ( stay close to Madison's Socials and The SLEIGHT CLUB for demonstrations and exposes of these moves. )

THE KICKER SWITCH

The KICKER SWITCH - Five cards are dealt to reveal all of the Aces and a King of Diamonds kicker.

You place one of the cards face down on the surface and invite the participant to determine the card using intuition alone...  No matter which card they name, you will be in complete control of two definite outcomes - it will either always be the named card, or never be the named card.

You reveal that this is 'The KICKER SWITCH' a deceptive method for switching the cards without detection, you then demonstrate this by switching any of the cards freely named by the participant with the Kicker card - the King of Diamonds.

This effect can be repeated over and over, and in this new Mad Method workshop. Madison teaches everything in intricate detail leading up to alternative handlings and variations of the trick that can be adapted to better suit the Magician.

MONTE MADNESS

This is MONTE MADNESS, Madison's take on 3-CARD MONTE including Madison's take on 2-CARD MONTE...  MAD MONTE!

In this demonstration of the classic street-hustle, Madison takes this deception to the next level by removing the 'mixing the cards' moment to demonstrate how the Cheat has already switched the cards before they even hit the surface.  In this powerful routine, you don't need to swap or switch any cards, and, as soon as they are placed on the surface, you don't even need to touch them!!

Madison has not only simplified this classic, but he's made it even more deceptive, and even more easy to execute and perform, removing any risky moments so that you don't have to try to deceive your victims, as the cards will do that for you.

Madison has also included MAD MONTE in this project, his take on 2-CARD MONTE in which the two black Aces are placed face-to-face and turned over a few times inviting the victim to bet on which is the Spade - the face up card, or the face down card...  no matter which card they bet on, they will always lose, as when the cards are revealed they are no longer the Ace's but now the Red Sevens...  Everything can be inspected in the end, and Madison has included many extra notes and handlings of the cards so that you can end by revealing the Black Aces in the victims pokcets!

Madison teaches everything in intricate detail leading up to alternative handlings and variations of the trick that can be adapted to better suit the Magician.
