CHANCE is a demonstration of pure deception.
After thoroughly shuffling the playing cards, the performer does not touch them again. He then writes down a number before inviting his participant to name out loud ANY playing card.
The performer then also writes this card down next to his number - for example, the number 18 and the Queen of Clubs. This is openly shown to all.
The participant is then invited to deal cards to the predicted number where they find, their very named playing card, the Queen of Clubs.
Because of the principal, no matter which playing card is named, the predicted number will ALWAYS be correct, and as the participant handles the deck there is no need for deceptive play or deals - the freely named card IS at the predicted number every time!
In this 45-minute Workshop, Madison teaches absolutely everything from the ground up leaving no stones unturned. Madison also offers many variations and different handlings of effect With fanx to the variations and additional thoughts, your participant can freely shuffle the deck, and the idea can be switched, so that the Card is Predicted and the number named by the participant.
This uses a devious concept that anybody can achieve. Because of it's simplicity the difficulty level in this one is only 2 out of 10.

The Repertoire cards look incredible and, as with all MADison products, the design is very creative. Handling wise, they take some breaking in but once they have been suitably tamed they feel amazing. I'm not a fan of cards that are too flexible, I like some resistance because it gives me a more definite feel when doing sleights and Repertoire are a great example of cards that do just this. Awesome, unique, just great.
